Many believe that with the help of cutting-edge devices, such as televisions or computers, audiences do not need to go to watch live performances like plays or concerts. From my perspective, I completely disagree with this view.
The first argument given to support my opinion is that it is not better to see these performances on TV or computer screen. It is clear that recorded and broadcasted performances cannot transform all the scenes to online viewers. In fact, before being released to the public, scenes and information are censored and edited meticulously by producers, which often could delete scenes that the viewers want to see. In addition, excessively watching TV or computer screen has been proven the main culprit of some health problems. Plenty evidence has indicated that poor visions and diabetes are among the most popular diseases caused by watching and abusing high – tech gadgets like TV or computers.
Another rationale behind my belief is that attending live shows is better for several reasons. What appears the most compelling is that it offers a thrilling experience and a deeper emotional resonance. In fact, not only can spectators resonate with live visual and audio effects of live performances, but they can also share feelings and emotions with others. Furthermore, going to see live concerts or plays, especially with family members, is one of the best ways to strengthen the family bond. People nowadays are living in the world with loads of pressure and anxiety that can impact negatively on their relationships, thereby joining outdoor activities together like enjoying a live concert in an intimate atmosphere can allow them to be both entertained and reconnected.
In conclusion, although some might suggest it seems better to watch performances online, I strongly believe that participation in live events is far better. |
